The Education-Memoirs of People and Places Around the World-David Pollard

This book is written by David Pollard.  I have know David for a while now and he is a very interesting guy.  This book is about he and his wife's travels around the world.  From dark jungles, to seas and beaches to the ruins of the ancient world, David will take you on an adventure that will help you to experience the world without leaving your armchair.

The Da Vinci Code- Dan Brown

Finished 1-5-11  5 out of 5

OK, I know what you may be thinking.  How can a priest read this and like it?  Well, let me begin by saying that the theology in the book is really bad.  This is an old heresy that has been going around for years.  Nothing new there.  As I read some of it I almost laughed out loud at how silly the ideas were.  But there are people who really believe this.

Dan Brown caught my attention and kept it throughout the book.  Great adventure and the plot turned and twisted in ways I could not have guessed.

Good read for the adventure and plot.  Bad on the theology.
